i love my Brooke

Wow evelen years ago today I became a mom for the 1st time .! I remember it as if it were yesterday. 

But without going into all the details I'll just say it was the best day of my life. I held that new little life(Brooke Nichole) in my arms and thought, wow this is what love is. This is what life is all about. I can't imagine my life without children; or her for that matter. She's my only girl... and to think it all started with a kiss. I am blessed to have the man in my life who helped me with this journey. I love you honey....

I love my little girl so much, and though she isn't so little. 

She'll always be my baby girl. She's our Sunshine, bundle of joy, a loud firecracker, and most of all a handful at times. But we love her & look forward to many more beautiful years. HapPy birthday my princess . I am proud to be your Mom.

Happy Summer: 

We have been super duper busy around here. Haven't had a chance to blog, I guess I've been a little lazy...

With school coming to an end (yay)!!! Summer is in full swing. But I have to say I'm actually excited to see what summer has in store for us.

 Baseball has ended and dance will continue for as long as my little lady wants.

So now its time to get my creative side out and plan some fun for the kids.

Garden we Tend

Family and Friends

We all have a cherished garden we tend -
It is planted with love of family and friends.
The memories and dreams we treasure and share
Are like beautiful roses found blooming there.
The comfort and care on which we depend
Is given with love between family and friends.

The sunshine of laughter and rain of a tear
Only make our love grow with each passing year.
We may all be ourselves with no need to pretend
Because of the love of family and friends;
They notice the rainbows and weather the showers.

They overlook weeds and praise all our flowers.
The most valuable thing is the time that we spend
Tending this garden with family and friends.
When counting our blessings, we know from the start
That family and friends come first in our heart.

 

I am grateful for family and friends who are always there for me. Through thick and thin, God always has the right person there to wipe a tear or hold a hand... They are the glue that holds everything together. Weather it's family or a close friend, the love is always there.
